Classroom RulesProcedures
OBEY RIGHT AWAY, ALL THE
WAY, and with a
GOOD ATTITUDE EVERYDAY.
During
the first week of school, we will discuss the need for classroom rules. Some
basic guidelines as well as a system of rewards for good behavior and
consequences to be imposed when rules are broken will be discussed. Each week
each student will start off with a green card on the behavior chart. This
indicates good behavior. If a student
breaks a rule then he/she must make a color change. Each color indicates a
consequence.
Green………………good
behavior.
Yellow………………one
infraction….warning.
Blue…………………two
infractions…..2nd warning and time off recess.
Red…………………phone call to
parent and time off recess.
White……………conference
with parent and time off recess.
Color changes will be
recorded in their agenda book.
White cards and office
visits are used for severe acts, e.g. fighting, dishonesty, etc.
Thank you,
Mrs. Cutler
