We had a great time working on our final honey bee mixed media drawings! Students first used pencils to draw the final sketch of their honey bee. Adjustments to drawings were made based on "two stars and a wish" protocol from previous draft work and thumbnail sketches. After pencil drawings were complete, students outlined their work with black sharpies and colored with crayons. Final touches were added by using watered down acrylic paint and doing a crayon resist technique over the whole paper and then spackling the entire piece with acrylic paint.
